Marsh Contracting has been helping clients in the greater metro Detroit area with quality home remodeling, reliable handyman services, and commercial building maintenance for over 20 years.

Robert Marsh started the company after years in the trades, on the theory that most of what frustrates homeowners about contractors is not craftsmanship but communication.

That is still how the business runs. We keep the crew small, we take on a limited number of projects at a time, and the owner is on site rather than behind a desk. It means we cannot be the cheapest bid on every job. It also means the person who promised you something is the person who has to deliver it.

Livable Remodeling

Most of our clients stay in the house while we work. That changes how a job has to be run. Dust barriers and negative-air filtration go up before demolition. Floors get protected. Tools and materials get cleaned up at the end of the day rather than the end of the week, and we keep one clean path through the house.

We use Buildertrend to document progress, post daily photos, log selections and handle change orders in writing. You can see where the project stands without having to ask.

Licensed Michigan Residential Builder. Robert quotes the work, runs the schedule and is on site through the build. If something changes, the call comes from him.
